High Purity Meets Low Impact.
Built on Collaboration.
Driven by Sustainability.
ecobio™ components, a joint initiative from Carolina Components Group and AdvantaPure, delivers sustainable single-use solutions that maintain the highest performance standards while supporting biopharma manufacturers in their Scope 3 reporting.
Our Mission.
At ecobio™, our mission is to transform single-use bioprocessing by embedding sustainability at the core of every component. We believe biopharma companies shouldn’t have to choose between high performance and environmental responsibility. With ecobio, they can have both.
ecoflex™ is the first bio-attributed TPE tubing designed for high-purity applications offering a validated reduction in lifecycle carbon footprint compared to fossil-based alternatives, helping biopharma manufacturers integrate sustainability into their processes and Scope 3 reporting. ecofllex™ is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing processes with validation data aligned to USP and ISO standards, switching requires minimal regulatory work.

Our Partnership
Our Approach to Sustaitnability
Lower Lifecycle Impact: ecobio™ components are produced using mass-balance certified resins that enable the attributed use of renewable feedstocks within existing manufacturing processes. This approach reduces reliance on fossil-based materials while maintaining the same performance and regulatory standards expected in high-purity applications.
Support for Scope 3 Reporting: By lowering the attributed carbon footprint of purchased goods through ISCC PLUS-certified materials, ecobio helps manufacturers demonstrate measurable progress toward their climate goals.
Transparency: We provide customers with certification documentation, resin traceability data, and carbon-impact calculators to quantify sustainability gains.
Continuous Validation: Life-cycle assessment (LCA) data for each product family is currently being developed and will be made available as part of our ongoing verification program.
